Sign up today for August stream monitoring!

Get Your Feet Wet! The Stormwater Coalition is sponsoring three WAVE stream monitoring events in Albany County. Here are the dates: Monday, August 7 (Krumkill watershed); August 10 (Shaker-Ann Lee watershed); and August 15 (Patroon-Sand Creek watershed). No experience necessary!

Local WAVE coordinators from the Coalition provide equipment, train volunteers, and share the results once the monitoring is completed. Start time will depend on volunteer availability and weather, either 1pm to 5pm (afternoon) or ~4pm to 8pm (early evening).

If interested, sign up today for a particular date and time (afternoon and/or evening) by contacting: swcoalition@albanycounty.com or 518-446-5645. The Coalition coordinator will explain where to meet, at what time, and what to bring.

See flyer for more information about the Stormwater Coalition and NYSDEC WAVE program. The WAVE data collected is valued and the experience is unforgettable!
